About Manly Beach
Located on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, Manly is 17kms from the Sydney CBD. It features a long stretch of sand on the ocean side, that runs from Queenscliff Beach to North Steyne Beach and Manly Beach. This is followed by rock pools, Fairy Bower and Shelly Beach. There are also a number of beaches on the harbour side of the peninsula.
Manly has a vast array of fine restaurants and cafes. Whether you want coffee or a cocktail, breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll always find something that satisfies your taste.
Get up close and personal with the underwater creatures when you snorkel at Shelley Beach. Hire a bike and explore the breathtaking coastal views and secluded coves of Manly or take a stroll along Manly Esplanade and enjoy the panoramic views of this beautiful seaside suburb.
Q Station is located on Manly’s famous North Head inside the National Park. At the Q Station you can enjoy day time walking tours, a lantern lit ghost tour or dine at the Boilerhouse Restaurant.

Just around the corner in Sydney Road Plaza you will find the Manly Arts & Crafts Market which are on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am – 4:00pm. These markets offer a unique range of fashion, accessories, jewellery, homewares, paintings, photography, souvenirs and freshly grown local produce.

Manly Jazz Festival
The first weekend in October sees Manly Beach turn into a glorious backdrop to the sweet sounds of Jazz for the Manly Jazz Festival. This Festival attracts the finest Jazz musicians both nationally and internationally to our shores.
